Bloody syringe found sticking out of toy store doll
Toy stores and sirens aren't usually things you see together - unless we’re talking about the little light up ones on plastic fire trucks.
But that’s what happened at a Toys ‘R’ Us store in Hong Kong recently, when a bloody syringe was discovered poking out of the side of a children's doll.
Police are investigating the matter after a photo of the doll – that was allegedly found in a baby aisle - was posted to Facebook and sparked panic amongst local parents.
It’s unclear exactly how the doll and bloody syringe came to be in the store, and an attempt to blackmail or sabotage the popular store is a possibility.
The doll was found late at night and police are running tests to confirm whether the red substance covering the syringe is blood as they suspect.
The news comes after a video went viral of a doll in England that appears to swear.
Instead of saying ‘mama’ and ‘papa’ as it’s supposed to, it sounds as though the doll says ‘you bi**h’, much to the shock of the mum who bought it for her two-year-old daughter. See it for yourself in the video at the top of the article.
