In a video posted to the lifestyle brand's TikTok account, Martin narrates her mother's morning routine, which is chock-full of Goop product placements. "When you get roasted by your gen z daughter," the caption reads.
"So first, my mom drinks her GoopGlow Superpowder, and she eats nothing except for dates and almond butter. So she will have that," Martin says over a clip of Paltrow mixing powder into a glass of water. "I suppose the GoopGlow is a part of her cleanse, which she's been on since the day I was born. Apparently."
The video then transitions to Paltrow in her bathroom. "It's 8 a.m., and she's been doing this since 7 a.m.," Martin says. "She just prances around the bathroom, putting on her millions of GoopGlow products for her glowing skin."
With her skin care routine done, the TikTok then pivots to Paltrow sitting in front of a laptop. "Then she gets to work," says Martin, "making some more vagina eggs and candles—also vagina candles—and vagina perfumes. Just everything vagina. And, yeah, that's my mom's morning routine."
Paltrow previously opened up to BAZAAR.com about the denouement of her acting career for our February 2020 cover story.
"When I was acting I really burned myself out," she says. "When the flywheel kicked in, I was doing three to five movies a year. I really got to the point where even the little things, like sitting in the van going to set, getting your makeup touch-ups, and everything—I really don’t know that I can bear it. The last movie I starred in, I was pregnant with my daughter. It was a movie called Proof, an adaptation of a play I did in London, and I was like, ‘I’ve had it. I can’t do this anymore.’ I had morning sickness and I was dying, and I had these five-page monologues. So when I had her, I knew I was going to take a big chunk of time off. And I’ve never starred in anything again."
