Hilarious X-rated detail after woman buys $2,700 table

A woman who spent $2700 on a designer coffee table was horrified when it turned up with a design that resembled a penis.

Ana Julieta Garcia, an architect, had purchased the table for an interior design project she was working on for a client in Spain.

The 32-year-old handed over almost BRL 10,000 ($2750) for the handmade piece.

But she had not seen the specific design she would get when she paid for it.

As the tables are partly made of volcanic lava, every piece ends up with a slightly different finish.

Ana Julieta, who also works as a DJ, was astonished when the delivery arrived with the likeness of a huge manhood covering the tabletop.

"It's a handmade table made from volcanic lava, which is enamelled by hand. You can't know the final design until it comes out of the oven," she told local media.

"That's the beautiful part of the story, you never know how your product will turn out.

"I saw the example, but it really went wrong in the oven. All the dark pigments clumped together in the middle. Normally, they're separated.

"Usually, the final image looks like it is multi-dimensional. But my order turned out really interesting, I'd say."

Woman fears Google legacy

She joked her career will always be overshadowed by the unfortunate mishap.

"When you put 'Ana Julieta' into Google, only a blue d*** will appear. Nothing about an architect or a DJ."

She said the company admitted it hadn't turned out the way they had planned and another table was being made.

"It's just that the table has a long production time. I left it with my client, and the new tabletop is already under production.

"When I gave handed it over, I said, 'If you want to keep it, fine. If not, I understand.'"
