'Inappropriate': Couple slammed over 'tacky' T-shirts at Disney World

A couple has been slammed online after a photo of them wearing sexually suggestive T-shirts at Disney World was shared on Twitter.

Former Disney creative designer Sam Carter took to the social media site to share the photo of the T-shirts which used the famous Disney 'D' calligraphy.

The woman's shirt read, "I wanted the D," while the man's said, "I gave her the D."

Sam put clown emojis over the couple's faces to hide their identity and captioned the snap, "D is for Don't."

"This whole custom shirt thing is just... too much," one follower responded, with another agreeing, "Not a big fan of it at the parks."

"Ugh... I hope Disney parks' management DOES ban the shirts," a third wrote.

"Saw this today in person! Same reaction," someone else said.

"D is for discomfort," one added, with another agreeing, "D is for disturbed.

"These shirts should have been banned," another wrote, while many others simply responded with GIFs, showing their disgust.

However, some didn't agree with one user writing, "It’s only inappropriate if YOU think of it in the inappropriate way. Get your minds out of the gutter... a kid sees the unmistakable Disney D not the D you do."

"It’s not really offensive as much as it is unfunny," another said.

"'I gave her the Disney.' If you read anything else into that; it’s [your] misfiring programming. She wanted a trip to Disney and she got it," someone else added.

"[Quit] whining these aren't that inappropriate, its just a twist of word that can make you think that way, its your own mind that lets you think in dirty ways. So technically [you're] the problem for seeing it wrong," another agreed.

Both Disney World and Disneyland have the right to refuse entry or remove anyone at the parks for wearing inappropriate clothing.

"We reserve the right to deny admission to or remove any person wearing attire that we consider inappropriate or attire that could detract from the experience of other Guests," the Disney World website reads.
