Irina Shayk Pushed a Stroller Around New York City in a Robe and Knee-High Boots
Fashion "rules," we regret to inform you, are largely fake. In fact, the hallmark of any truly good dresser is that they often, if not categorically, contradict the so-called guidelines for how one should wear clothes. Our advice? Break them all.
Perhaps this was Irina Shayk's ethos when she stepped out over the weekend in an outfit that defied conventional fashion advice and, to some extent, logic. On a stroller-pushing walk through New York City, Shayk paired a full-on Skims pajama set, including a top, shorts, and full-length robe, with knee-high black heeled boots and a zebra-print baby bag, both by By Far. The PJ ensemble was naturally designed with indoor-wear in mind (at least that's our assumption -- we'd have to confirm with creator Kim Kardashian, though), so it's pretty impressive to see the model mom team the pieces with dominatrix-esque, three-inch-heeled footwear fit for a night out.

Whether Shayk was lounging around the house in the fuzzy three-piece getup when the urge to get some air struck her (Tracee Ellis Ross wearing Louboutins to her kitchen vibes) or she had planned to pair it with this Katie Holmes and Amal Clooney-loved boot trend from the beginning, we'll never know. All we can say for sure is that Shayk isn't afraid to shake things up, especially when it comes to so-called fashion "rules."
