Ivana Trump doesn't know what Melania's 'problem is'
It’s the feud that just keeps on giving and the public spat between Ivana and Melania Trump doesn’t look like it’s going anywhere anytime soon.
Just last week Melania Trump hit back at Donald Trump's first wife, Ivana, after she called herself the real First Lady in an interview.
However, Ivana, who was married to Donald from 1977 to 1992, has now claimed she doesn’t know what Melania’s “problem is” and claims the First Lady is making a mountain out of a molehill.
“Well I tell you I am technically first lady Trump. I was first wife,” Ivana said on The Wendy Williams Show
“I don’t know what Melania’s problem is.
“She just has to get over it. She is first lady of America, but I am first lady Trump, excuse me, I have three grown up kids.”
Ivana went on to say that she doesn't understand why Melania publicly spoke out about the whole thing and she doesn't even want to be First Lady at all.
"Better her than me," she said.
The feud all started when Ivana appeared on ABC's Good Morning America, to promote her new book called ‘Raising Trump’, where she said she often calls Trump in the White House.
"I have the direct number to White House but I don't really want to call him there because Melania is there and I don't really want to cause any kind of jealousy or something like that because I'm basically first Trump wife, OK? I'm first lady, OK?" she said.
Melania snapped back last week in a statement released to CNN by her communications director, Stephanie Grisham, saying she is “honoured by her role as first lady of the United States”.
“She plans to use her title and role to help children, not sell books.
"There is clearly no substance to this statement from an ex, this is unfortunately only attention-seeking and self-serving noise."
Ivana also ruffled a few feathers when an extract from her book was released, in which she reveals all about her ‘insane” divorce from
Donald Trump, after he had an affair with Marla Maples.
According to Associated Press, Ivana wrote in the book about a day in 1989 where she came face-to-face with Marla.
"This young blonde woman approached me out of the blue and said 'I'm Marla and I love your husband. Do you?'" Ivana writes in the book.
"I said 'Get lost. I love my husband.' It was unladylike but I was in shock."
