Jada Pinkett Smith is definitely not a fan of the new biopic about Tupac Shakur's life.

Jada, who was close friends with Tupac, has posted a series of angry tweets about the film and its portrayal of their relationship.

She branded All Eyez on Me, which stars Demetrius Shipp Jr. as Tupac, "deeply hurtful".

"Forgive me... my relationship to Pac is too precious to me for the scenes in All Eyez On Me to stand as truth", she wrote.

Referring to scenes in the film which show the pair together, she wrote: "Pac never read me that poem. I didn't know that poem existed until it was printed in his book.

"Pac never said goodbye to me before leaving for LA. He had to leave abruptly and it wasn't to pursue his career.

"I've never been to any of Pac's shows by his request. We never had an argument backstage.

"The reimagining of my relationship to Pac has been deeply hurtful."

However, she has no beef with Shipp Jr. or Kat Graham, who plays her in the film.

Instead she sent them praise, writing: "To @KatGraham and @Dshippjr this is no fault of yours. Thank you for bringing so much heart and spirit to your roles.

"You both did a beautiful job with what you were given. Thank you both."

Jada then wrote a heartfelt birthday message to Tupac, who would have turned 46 yesterday (June 16).

"Happy birthday Pac, you are cradled in my heart for eternity. I love you", she wrote.

All Eyez on Me, directed by Benny Boom, is out now in the US and will be released in the UK on June 30.
