Trevor Lawrence lost one of his top targets three plays into Thursday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver DJ Chark left the game on its opening drive after suffering a left ankle injury. Chark was blocking on a run play when multiple players landed on the back of his leg during a tackle of James Robinson. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that Chark suffered a fractured ankle and is out indefinitely.

Chark's left foot was planted in the turf, and his leg twisted under the weight of other players. He remained laying on the turf until he left for the Jaguars' locker room on a cart. The Jaguars diagnosed Chark with an ankle injury and initially listed him as questionable before quickly ruling him out for the rest of the game

A Pro Bowler in 2019, Chark has seven catches for 154 yards and two touchdowns through three games this season. Laviska Shenault Jr. and Marvin Jones could see increased roles in Jacksonville's offense in his absence.

The Bengals went on to a 24-21 victory
