Jen cringes at bikini wardrobe malfunction

She shot to fame after winning the Miss Universe crown back in 2004, but when Jen Hawkins was shown a reel of her pageant days on Wednesday, she couldn't help but cringe.

Appearing on Channel Seven's Sunrise, the 33-year-old admitted she was so embarrassed to see a video package roll out, in which she suffered a wardrobe malfunction while wearing a bikini during her early modelling days.

"I just saw a part of that package where my a** was on the TV again," the blonde giggled.

Covering her face, she told the show's hosts Samantha Armytage and David 'Kochie' Koch, "I haven’t seen that in so long!"

Sam reassured Jen that there's nothing to blush about.

"You walked in on the couch just as the bottom shot... but it’s a good bottom so you’re pretty lucky! I wouldn’t mind, if it was mine, I’d be walking down the street like that."

Jen was famously named Miss Universe back in 2004, instantly catapulting her to global fame.

Nowadays the blonde bombshell has a versatile portfolio of projects under her belt, as she juggles modelling with her tanning range and tequila business co-founded by husband Jake Wall.

It's a busy week for Jen as she prepares to hit the catwalk on Thursday for Myer's Spring/Summer fashion collection launch.

The beauty has been an ambassador for the retail giant for several years, and will be leading the runway action at Myer's exclusive event in Sydney.
