Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, and Meghan Markle’s Go-To Jeans Are All on Sale at Nordstrom Right Now
I’m assuming yoga pants must be thrilled by the current state of things. For years they were written off by millions as “not real pants,” and now those same people, who doubted their potential, have been living in leggings for twenty-five days straight. Or maybe it’s twenty-three days. I’ve lost count.
Conversely, jeans must be feeling pretty neglected. People have started to refer to them as “hard pants.” Twitter users are questioning how one could even wear denim in this economy. If you show up to a Zoom or FaceTime meeting in jeans, you’re likely to be called out. The same pants that unified us not that long ago are dividing us. And the very fact that I am discussing the emotional inner workings of pants, who don’t feel anything at all, or at least so I am told, probably hints at my current mental state. Thankfully, Nordstrom is offering some relief with a denim surprise sale.
If you forgot how much you love jeans, a sitewide sale on brands like Rag & Bone, Frame, and Levi’s will definitely remind you. I guarantee it. As much as I love living in workout leggings these days, I’m starting to reach a breaking point. I think I’m finally at the I-should-get-dressed part of quarantine. Jeans remind me of the outside world, so I finally put some on today while adding a couple new pairs to my shopping cart.

Mother, beloved by Meghan Markle, is also included in the sale — along with every jean brand worn by celebrities and mortals alike. So what if none of us are really real pants people right now? We’re bound to be again at some point soon — and I’m sure yoga pants are dreading the day.
