Jennifer Lopez Could Have Been Married "Any Day Now"

The global coronavirus pandemic has forced many of us to put our lives on hold, forcing us to isolate ourselves in our homes to keep the illness from continuing to spread. Because of this, there are a myriad of special moments that many have missed out on.

For Jennifer Lopez, that includes her wedding to fiancé Alex Rodriguez, as the singer revealed Monday night (April 6) to Ellen DeGeneres in a new interview. During Ellen's chat with "the coolest homeschool teacher on the block," Lopez spoke about educating children Maximilian David Muniz and Emme Maribel Muniz during the crisis as well as the challenges that's brought with it.

But the subject soon turned to when J.Lo and Alex would be ready to tie the knot – to which Lopez implied could have been "any day now" had the pandemic not occurred.

"Any day now," she replied to Ellen. "Actually, it did affect it a little bit, so we will see what happens now," she confirmed.

"Honestly, I really don’t know what’s going to happen now, as far as dates or anything like that. We’re just kind of in a holding pattern like the rest of the world. It’s something that we’ll have to wait and see in a few months, how this all pans out."

It was believed that Lopez and Rodriguez were likely planning a summer wedding following a whirlwind past year with the release of Hustlers and Lopez's performance with Shakira at the Super Bowl. Though she had previously confirmed that the pair weren't in any hurry to make things official following Rodriguez's March 2019 proposal, however, it's still got to be a bit of a bummer to have to place things on hold.

Whatever ends up happening, however, at least Lopez and Rodriguez have plenty of time to think about how their big day i going to go down now.
