Jess Glynne is being dragged for saying she was 'discriminated' against for wearing a hoodie
Jess Glynne has come under fire on Twitter for saying she was discriminated against by a restaurant for wearing a hoodie and bum bag.
In a new Instagram post, the 30-year-old singer called out Mayfair restaurant Sexy Fish for not letting her in to eat, due to what she was wearing. Fans have in turn called the singer out by questioning whether this counts as discrimination, pointing out the restaurant's dress code.
Sharing a photo of her outfit with her 797k followers, Jess wrote:
"Dear @sexyfishlondon I turned up to your restaurant looking like this and you looked me and my friend up and down and said no you can’t come in and your restaurant was EMPTY. I then went to @amazonicolondon who greeted me and my friend with pure joy and we had a banging meal with wicked service.

@sexyfishlondon please check yourself if this is how you treat people cause it’s rude, off putting, embarrassing and most definitely not inviting. We were made to wait and 2 members of staff came to look at us and make a decision based on our appearance. I think the attitude of your staff needs to change as that was pure discrimination. Thanks and bye 💋"
On their website, Sexy Fish's dress code states:
"We request that guests do not wear sportswear, beachwear, ripped jeans, flip flops, sliders or workout trainers (smarter, fashion trainers may be permitted)."
Fans have taken to Twitter to share their opinions on the saga. "Someone needs to tell Jess Glynne that being turned away from a restaurant cos you’re wearing a hoody is not discrimination," one person wrote.

Another added, "It’s not discrimination because it’s not personal, it’s their dress code," while a third said, "Jess Glynne got turned away from a restaurant for wearing a hoodie and she called it 'discrimination' what the f***."
Some fans have shown their support for Jess, suggesting it was the restaurant's 'loss'.
