Jesy Nelson has reportedly split from boyfriend Zion Foster and is insisting that music they had been working on together now never sees the light of day.

The two singers are said to have broken up last month after two years together and have “completely cut ties”.

33-year-old Essex-native Nelson - who left girl group Little Mix in December 2020 - last released music in August, with Foster,24, featuring on a track called "Mine” with more tracks by the two said to be in the pipeline.

The song reached the top ten in the UK's iTunes charts, but Nelson has since deleted the Mine single cover from her social media.

A source told The Sun: "Jesy and Zion split last month and have completely cut ties with each other. It's not the first time they have broken up but friends think it's for good this time."

"It's slightly awkward though because they had an EP ready of music they have made together and Jesy doesn't want it released now.

“Fans have already heard one of their tracks and were hoping for more, but it's looking pretty unlikely at this point."

The couple first broke up last summer with it suggested Nelson was struggling with their nine year age gap.

They got back together earlier this year, but unfollowed each other in recent weeks on social media and the Bad Boyz hit-maker has since has wiped all traces of Foster from her online profiles.

The Standard has contacted a representative for Jesy Nelson for comment.
