In case you've somehow avoided the internet for the last 24 hours, the MTV Video Music Awards (aka The VMAs) took place overnight, and phewwww. Celebs were serving look after look - check our roundup of red carpet arrivals to see what I mean.

If there's one celebrity that always gives us a fire outfit, it's Jennifer Lopez. She didn't disappoint last night, either. The singer and actress was in New York City to present the VMA for Song of the Year to Olivia Rodrigo for “drivers license,” and she wore an incredible David Koma look for the occasion. Our favourite bit? The reallly wild miniskirt. It was slashed all the way up to her waist, and held together only by some black corset-style lacing. Decorated with mirrored ovals all over that shone in the spotlight, this skirt was made for the stage.

Her rollneck long-sleeved top matched the skirt with its lace-up detailing - almost like a reverse v-neck. She polished off the look with some clear ankle-strap stilettos and voluminous honey blonde waves.

Without further ado:

How pretty is that dangly drop earring? But back to the skirt. What undergarments does one actually wear with an outfit like this? We imagine some very creative boob tape, or one of those stick-on thong things without a waistband. (Has anyone ever tried one? Pls report back). Either way, it's all very daring.

Okay, but how incredible does she look? The flowy hair, the smile, the pretty nails and major rings - love it all. After multiple lockdowns blocked the possibility of red carpet events, this is precisely the outfit drama we've been missing.

Thanks, J.Lo.
