Jock Zonfrillo's wife Lauren Fried has shared a heartbreaking update to the MasterChef judge's Instagram account one day after updating fans on all the projects he'd been working on in the lead-up to his death last month.

"What beautiful gifts Jock left you," another said. "We are all just heartbroken for your family. I hope you are surrounded by kindness and gentleness, because that’s all you can bear when your heart is shattered."

"I can't imagine how they're feeling," a third said of the young children.

"You’re so brave," someone else wrote. "[Thanks] for sharing a little of what life’s like for you now. Thinking of you often."

Lauren breaks her silence one month after Jock's death

Lauren took to Instagram on Sunday night to break her silence one month after Jock's shock passing, revealing he had a number of projects yet to be released.

"It's been a month since we lost Jock, and I put a line in the sand thinking that at the one month mark, I would turn some sort of a corner. Obviously that hasn't happened," she said of her grief. "And there's no time that I can allocate to say thank you to everyone, I'm just overwhelmed by the messages that came in from people all over the world that knew him or didn't know him."

She continued, "I really wish that he knew how loved he was and he knew the impact that he had on so many people."

Lauren then revealed the many projects Jock had been working on behind the scenes, adding she didn't know whether or not it would be "appropriate" to share these things on his social media following his passing, asking Jock's followers for their thoughts.

"He had lots of projects – he was working on a lot that he'd finished, and I just don't know what's appropriate or what you guys wanna see on here," she said. "He's got a lot of behind the scenes interviews and photos from MasterChef, he's got books, a fashion range, he's got spirits ageing in a distillery in Tassie," she explained. "He's got a TV show he filmed in Italy last year with the family."

"Somehow we will work out whether there's a path forward here, or if we don't do anything at all, but thanks again and I will manage his channel from now on and I will respond to as much as I can," she added. "Thank you."

The celebrity chef was found dead at 2am in Melbourne last month after police received a call requesting a "welfare check".
