A judge has thrown out claims that Taylor Swift was responsible for getting a radio DJ fired.
Radio presenter David Mueller, had been claiming that the superstar slandered him to the station where we worked, and that he was fired because of it. He’s seeking $3 million in compensation because his career is now in tatters.
But Swift is counter-suing him, alleging that he groped her during a 2013 "meet and greet" session before a concert.
The judge decided that Mueller’s lawsuit should have been brought against his employer and not the singer, and an eight-person jury will now decide whether Swift’s mum Andrea Swift or manager Frank Bell, contributed to Mueller losing his job.
The jury will also continue to consider Swift’s groping allegations.
The Shake it Off singer seemed happy about the judged ruling and was seen hugging her legal team.
Yesterday she told the jury of the horrific moment she realised her “bare ass cheek” was being groped, and said there was "no doubt" the DJ reached up under her skirt while posing for a photo.
