Junior Andre has signed his first record deal, following in the footsteps of his chart-topping father Peter Andre.
The 16-year-old, whose mother is Andre's ex-wife Katie Price, announced on Instagram that he has inked an agreement with Columbia Records, firing the starting pistol on his music career.
In his social media post, Junior revealed he entered the studio six months ago to begin work on a "massive project", which has led to his new deal.
He showed off his vocals publicly alongside Peter in July at the Fantasia festival, where he performed with his father on stage.
In his Instagram caption, Junior thanked his father for helping to "develop me into an artist" after encouraging him to get into the studio and record some music.
He added: "Also not forgetting my mum who is always supportive of me. And of course my family and friends.
"I love everyone who supports me and I am very excited to go on this journey with you all."
