The Kardashian family are reportedly giving their full support to Kanye and his 2020 presidential bid, but also "worry for him", and have concerns about his "tendency to overwork", according to a source.

Kanye announced his presidential bid via Twitter on the 4th July weekend, and wife Kim was quick to voice her support, retweeting his announcement along with an American flag.

According to ET the Kardashian family is in full support of Kanye, but, the source says, they're also worried for him; "Kanye’s family will always support him in his endeavours but they also worry for him. Kanye has a tendency to overwork himself physically, emotionally and mentally and not take time to rest and reset."

The source continued, "The family is supportive of Kanye’s plan to run for president but they don’t agree with his recent interview."

Presumably this comment alludes to the recent interview Kanye gave to Forbes, in which he discussed coronavirus, stated he no longer supports Trump and gave more information about his presidential bid. He also made some controversial statements surrounding vaccines and Planned Parenthood.

According to the source Kim is one member of the family who doesn't agree with some of the statements he made in this interview; "Kim will always support Kanye, but she doesn’t have to always agree with him, and that’s what makes their relationship special," the source said.

When questioned by Forbes about his chances of winning, Kanye said the result of the election is in God's hands and suggested that if he doesn't snatch victory this time around, he'd try again in 2024.

Recently Kanye confirmed that his political party will be called The Birthday Party, stating this is "Because when we win, it’s everybody’s birthday".
