Karlie Kloss Opens Up About Life as a Mom of Two: ‘I’m In Love’ (Exclusive)
The supermodel and her husband Joshua Kushner share sons Levi Joseph, 2 and Elijah Jude, 4 months
Karlie Kloss is enjoying how “special” life is as a mother of two.
Chatting with PEOPLE at the CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday, the 31-year-old supermodel raves that she's "in love” with her new addition, son Elijah Jude, whom she welcomed in July.
“He is 4 months old now and it’s so special to see my two little ones together,” Kloss adds, referencing 2-year-old son Levi Joseph.
Despite the joy of welcoming another little one, Kloss admits that being a mom of two has its challenges. “I don't know how moms do it every single day,” the fashion model tells PEOPLE. “I have two and my mom had four.”
Kloss, who walked the red carpet in a custom Thom Browne outfit, says figuring out motherhood is easier “with [her] friends like Ashley Graham” who wore a Diane von Furstenberg dress on Monday night.

Kloss, who shares her sons with husband Joshua Kushner, tells PEOPLE that as parents, “we just figure it out,” along with all “moms and dads out there too.”
Kushner, 38, was the first to share the news about Elijah's arrival, sharing a photo featuring part of the baby boy's face on Instagram in July and writing, "Welcome to 🌎❤️ 7.11.23.”
Kloss introduced her son to the world on Instagram just a few days later, writing, “Elijah Jude 7.11.23 💙” along with a photo of her two sons holding hands.
While Kloss loves being a mom to her two boys, she shares that it is fun to get out of the house every once in a while. “It's fun to be out here tonight and put a fancy dress on and have a little fun,” she tells PEOPLE.
Kloss and Kushner first announced that their family was growing a second time at the Met Gala in May, with the model showcasing her bump in a form-fitting black column dress accessorized by lengthy strands of pearls and beading around the waist.
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight on the red carpet at the event, Kloss said she chose the biggest night in fashion to debut her baby bump. “This is the most important night in fashion, of course, and I'm honestly surprised I could keep it a secret this long,” she said.
She added to Vogue, "I got a plus one. Shhh... don't tell anybody.”
