July 28, 2022: Justin Long and Kate Bosworth star in upcoming thriller House of Darkness
Long and Bosworth are set to share the screen together in Neil LaBute's upcoming thriller, House of Darkness. The first trailer for the film dropped on July 28, 2022 and it showed the real-life couple engaging in a deadly game.
The trailer begins with Long and Bosworth arriving at a mansion, where they canoodle by a fireplace. Soon, spooky figures pop up throughout the house and Bosworth tells Long, "Let's play a game."
The two crank up the drama when Long says, "I'm tired. I'm gonna go home," and Bosworth responds, "No you're not."
While the two can be seen kissing and showing affection in the short clip, the sinister flick is a far cry from their adorable off-screen relationship.

Long chatted with Drew Barrymore about his relationship with Bosworth during the season 3 premiere of The Drew Barrymore Show.
After discussing their own romantic history (the two dated on-and-off between 2007 and 2010) Barrymore told Long, "I'm just so happy because you deserve to be happy. I'm so thrilled for you."
"[Bosworth] does all those things," Long replied. "And she adores you. She is the most supportive, most wonderful. You would love hanging out with her."
September 16, 2022: Justin Long thanks his "acting coach" Kate Bosworth
Long gave Bosworth a shout-out on Instagram after working on press for the horror film Barbarian. "I wanted to acknowledge my gratitude for everyone who made this movie such a special experience," Long wrote along with various photos.

Long told PEOPLE that he and Bosworth have been celebrating the Halloween season with scary movies. "We've been doing a horror movie every night for October, leading up to Halloween," he said. "So we've done Don't Look Now and The Exorcist and classics."
The actor explained that the pair have been relying on movie picks from Barbarian director Zach Cregger. "We love what Zach did with this movie and his taste," explains Long. "And so we are now really trusting his taste in horror movies. He tweeted a list of movies, so we've seen Saint Maud and Audition, a bunch of movies that were on his list ... The Evil Dead. Tonight is Nightmare on Elm Street!"

Long and Bosworth had fans questioning if the couple had quietly gotten engaged when the Blue Crush star showed up on the Vanity Fair red carpet wearing a diamond ring on that finger.
The couple were all smiles as they posed for photos together at the star-studded event. Bosworth dazzled in a plunging Monique Lhuillier A-line gown, while Long looked handsome in a black suit and tie.
A few days later, Bosworth thanked her glam team on Instagram, including her nail artist, Ashlie Johnson.
