Kate Middleton is reckoning with her youngest child, Prince Louis, growing up so fast, judging by her latest remark.

During a visit to Little Village, a family support hub in Brent, the mother-of-three - to Prince George, nine, Princess Charlotte, seven and Prince Louis, four - admitted that she can't stop referring to her youngest as 'my baby'.

The 40-year-old Duchess of Cambridge said: 'I keep thinking Louis is my baby, but he's a proper boy now,' per People.

On June 2, Prince Louis joined his elder siblings for the annual Trooping The Colour carriage procession, which marked the Queen's 96th birthday.

At the time the young royal was dressed smartly in a white and navy sailor top that complemented his siblings' similarly styled attire.

Earlier this month, a source spoke to Hello! about Middleton's normal approach to parenting, referring to her as a 'down-to-earth mum'.

This was while explaining her interaction with Prince George and Prince Louis at a local trampolining park in south-west London.

The source told the news outlet: 'Kate takes her kids to the trampoline park quite regularly and really blends in as any other mum.'

They added: 'She went a couple of Saturdays ago with George and Louis and took her shoes off like everyone else, and was walking around the edge of the trampolines following her sons. It was a very down-to-earth mum moment, very sweet.'

In May, during Middleton and Prince William's two-day visit to Scotland, the royal couple visited John's Primary School in Port Glasgow, where the duke quipped: 'Can you get my wife out of here before she gets broody?'

This came after Prince William made a similar remark during their visit to Clitheroe Community Hospital in Lancashire back in January.

When she looked adoringly at a couple's daughter Anastasia, with whom she took a photograph, Prince William said: 'Don't give my wife any more ideas,' as per People

What's more, in February, 'the children's princess' herself admitted to being broody when talking to parents at Copenhagen's Children's Museum during a solo two-day trip in Denmark.

The Daily Mail reported that while promoting the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, which she launched in 2021, the duchess revealed: 'William always worries about me meeting under one-year-olds.

'I come home saying, "let's have another one.'"
