Kelly Osbourne responds to surgery rumours after losing 38kg

Kelly Osbourne has revealed that two years ago she underwent gastric sleeve surgery — a procedure in which up to 80 per cent of the stomach is removed — as part of her journey to lose 38.5kg.

The 35-year-old shared the news on Thursday on the Hollywood Raw Podcast in her trademark sassy style.

“I don’t give a f*** what anyone has to say. I did it, I’m proud of it, they can suck s***,” the reality star announced.

“All it does is change the shape of your stomach. I got that almost two years ago. I will never, ever, ever lie about it ever. It is the best thing I have ever done.”

While Kelly’s physical transformation has been several years in the making, it’s her Instagram photos over the last month or so that have really showcased her incredible progress.

Back in June, the purple-haired star sported a pair of embellished jeans — believed to be size 26 — while posing for a poolside pic with a friend. Her svelte figure earned praise from her followers, including one who commented, “You look f***en amazing”.

Still, Kelly made it clear that her health overhaul required a lot more than simply going under the knife.

“If you don’t work out and you don’t eat right, you gain weight. All it does is move you in the right direction,” she said.

“So, anyone who’s thinking of doing something like this, really think about that. I had to do a year of stand-alone therapy to prepare myself for the surgery before I even had it.”

She also had an additional procedure on her jaw to correct her ‘really bad TMJ’ (Temporomandibular joint dysfunction)’ which ‘changed the shape of everything.’

While Kelly denied making changes to other parts of her body she admitted that she’d like to have a breast augmentation.

“I’ve never f**ked with my face. I’m too scared,” she claimed.

“My t*** are saggy, and I want to get them fixed, but I’m scared of the surgery. All my friends I’ve helped recover from it — it looks so painful and they can’t move their arms. I’m like, ‘Nah, I’m good.’”

As well as eating well and working out, Kelly also lives a sober lifestyle and meditates for 10 minutes in the morning and 10 minutes in the evening.

“The number one thing I had to do was get happy,” Kelly said. “I had to fix my head before I could fix my body. You can never go into this if you’re not in a good mindset.”
