Kherson Oblast rocked by major Russian shelling attack, four injured

In the early hours of Nov. 19, Russian occupiers targeted Kherson Oblast unleashing almost 400 shells across the region.

“Russian forces are shelling Kherson from the temporarily occupied left bank of the Dnipro. Explosions are heard in the Dniprovsky district of the city. Move to safer places. Stay away from windows!” said Kherson city military administration, Roman Mrochko.

As of 6 a.m. on Nov. 19, the Russians carried out 71 shelling incidents across the region, firing 389 shells from mortars, artillery, Grad rocket systems, tanks, ZU-23 anti-aircraft guns, UAVs, and aviation, said regional governor Oleksandr Prokudin.

“The Russian military targeted residential neighborhoods of populated areas in the region; the territory of an agricultural business in the Kherson district. Due to Russian aggression, four people were injured,” said Prokudin.
