When it comes to style, Kim Kardashian is nothing if not a boundary pusher. From her divisive, Hulk-inspired Christmas look and assless leather chaps to that exposed thong dress, there's never a dull day in the Kardashian's wardrobe. And it's precisely this fearless fashion approach that makes us so excited about keeping up with Kim's latest 'fits.

We have to admit, though, her latest outfit has even us a little confused, mainly because I'm not quite sure how to describe it.

Kim took to Instagram overnight to share new pictures of her eponymous beauty brand's upcoming fragrance launch, Metallic Hearts, but it was her ensemble that really caught out attention. Best described as something between a corset and catsuit, Kim has upped the ante with this stellar piece:

As you scroll through the pics, you can see Kim rocking slightly different versions of the outfit in three colours: rose gold, silver and yellow gold. It's the rose gold one that's of most interest though because of its daring cut-out details around the hips.

Kim shared some more behind-the-scenes snaps of the bronze number on her Instagram Stories, showing just how revealing the cut-out details are, extending from her lower stomach, round to her bum:

Ay caramba! It's not quite a G-string cut at the back, but heck, it's definitely a statement, with the trousers element starting only halfway down the bum cheek.

Here's another close up of the corset situation from the front, which looks almost like a one-piece swimsuit:

Well, how bow dah for a Friday morn? Like we said, never a dull day in Kardashian fashion.
