Kim Kardashian says she’s teaching North not to ‘annihilate people’ for no reason
Anyone who’s been a fan of the Kardashian family and watching North West grow up knows that North, now 10 years old, is infamous for her razor-sharp wit. But that’s becoming a bit of a challenge for her mom, Kim Kardashian, who was seen on the latest episode of The Kardashians preparing for the Met Gala while North looked on.
“It could be just a little bit better,” North said of her mom’s look.
Later, in a confessional, Kim told the cameras that North can be overly “critical” sometimes.
“This is just her vibe,” Kim said, adding that she asked North to “be easy on me today.”
“I am. I’m not going to lie. I won’t say it at all if you don’t want me to. I’m not going to lie,” North replied.
“There’s a way to be honest and not hurt people’s feelings, so I want you to learn that,” Kim said back. “Because there’s a way to say, ‘You know, I might not love that.'”
North then gave it a shot: “You know, I might not love your necklace or your outfit because I’m just trying to support you because you know, whatever you like, you know. Was that good?”
“Yeah, that was a good start,” Kim said.
In another confessional, Kim added, “North won’t lie, and that’s amazing. So I’m trying to teach her you don’t need to just jump in and annihilate people for no reason. There’s a way to soften it up.”
If parents of preteens don’t relate to that.
But, like all kids that age, it seems like North contains multitudes. While Kim described her as “really a tough critic,” she also said she can be “the sweetest ever.”
“She loves to plan surprises and she’s the most thoughtful girl ever,” she added. Sounds like she’s on the right track.
