Yesterday, September 1st, Dax Shepard celebrated 16 years of sobriety, and wife Kristen Bell and daughters Delta and Lincoln helped him celebrate this momentous occasion. Lincoln, age seven, crafted this hilariously adorable sign for her father and Bell just had to share the wealth with her Instagram followers.

"Today is my husband's 16th sobriety birthday," she captioned her September 1st upload. "My daughter woke him up with this sign, and a sketch of the one and only Ronald Weasley (absolutely random, and also perfect)."

She continued, "Happy birthday Daxy. Thank you for dedicating your life to the hard and wonderful work of sobriety, so that we could share it with you. Xo K, L & D."

That pic of Ron Weasley is truly the best thing we've seen all week.

Many of Bell's followers in the comments section of her post shared their story of sobriety and offered encouraging thoughts to others who are just starting on their path. "I have 22 months sober," one follower wrote. "I know how hard it can be so Happy Birthday." Another added, "I'll be 37 years October 1. I feel ya Dax! Congrats. One day at a time."

And another follower praised Bell and Shepard for teaching their daughters about what being sober means and how their parents had a past before them. "I love that your daughters understand your husbands past and they can accept and encourage him," this follower wrote. "Most people would shelter their kids but understanding addiction from a young age will help them (hopefully) avoid it."

Bell and Shepard are always open and honest with each other, their kids, and their fans. So it's no surprise that Shepard's sobriety journey is something the pair are open to talk about.

16 years of sobriety is absolutely something to celebrate. Congrats to Shepard and the entire family—including Ron Weasley.
