Would you let your 14-year-old wear this?
A mum has shared her shock online after seeing a photo of a 14-year-old girl wearing a racy swimsuit.
Taking to Mumsnet, the woman explained that she saw an image on Facebook that showed the teenager taking a bathroom selfie wearing a one-piece swimsuit.
“The ones that cover only half the boob and pushes up your t**ts. The kind you would see on a lads mag. It's just awful,” the concerned mum wrote.
As people started commenting on the thread, she shared a photo of former Made In Chelsea star Kimberley Garner, 27, in a similar swimsuit to give fellow users an idea of what she was talking about.
It was her niece’s friend that posted the image online, and she was shocked to find the teenager’s mother had even ‘liked’ the photo.
“I thought to myself how can her parents let her dress like that,” she wrote.
While some agreed with her and said children were growing up ‘too fast’, others said she was overreacting because teenagers are known to push the boundaries.

Many even reminisced about when they were teenagers and some of the ‘provocative’ trends that were around when they were young.
But the difference is, 20 years ago photos were not shared all over social media for others to see.
“Yes, teenagers have always shocked their parents, but is this a race to the bottom? Miniskirts, nose piercing and crop tops are one thing, but showing side-boob or cleavage on social media is too much for a tween,” one person commented.
“I would be horrified to see a 14 year old in that, and the mother needs her head examined. Won't be long before she's doing naked selfies for her boyfriend, and he's sharing them with his friends. Also sadly the norm,” another added.
