Liam Gallagher: Idris Elba didn't really apologise

Liam Gallagher says Idris Elba "didn't really apologise" for their feud in 2013.
The 45-year-old rocker took to Twitter last week to suggest that the 'Star Trek Beyond' actor had apologised to him for a heated exchange they'd had four years ago at the NME Awards, in which he had allegedly messed up Liam's hair, prompting the former Oasis star to kick Idris' hat across the room.
But the 'Wall of Glass' hitmaker has now revealed that whilst the pair are on better terms now, their meeting on 'The Graham Norton Show' - which was filmed last Thursday (28.09.17) and will be aired on Friday (06.10.17) - did not include an apology.
He told The Independent newspaper: "I don't hold grudges, me. I'm pissed off about Oasis breaking up but I don't hold grudges. I'd had too much to drink at that awards night and I didn't know who he was. But then I met him in Ibiza and we had a chat, then I met him at GQ awards this year and we had a chat, then I seen him on that TV show ['Graham Norton'] and he was cool, we shook hands. He didn't really apologise though, I was just winding him up."
At the time, Liam told his Twitter followers that he "applauds" the actor, also 45, for accepting he was "in the wrong".
He wrote: "Graham norton you are an absolute dude I apologise for being a sketchy little f***er can't handle the chit chat as you were LG x
"And as for you idris I applaud you it takes a big man to know and accept when he's in the wrong as you were LG x (sic)"
Previously, Idris claimed Liam had taken a dislike to his headgear at the time of their "exchange of words", and said the whole ordeal had been "blown out of proportion".
He said: "It got blown out of proportion, but we kept our hats on, so to speak. It was a good hat, man. I guess he just took against it. He must have thought it looked silly, because he tried to grab it."
Although he added in a later interview: "F**k that idiot."
However, in Liam's version of events, it was Idris who riled the 'For What Its Worth' singer up by touching his hair without permission.
He said previously: "He messed my f***ing hair up so I pulled his hat off and booted it across the room and that's it. I don't give a f**k who he is. You don't touch a man's haircut."
