Linkin Park filmed ‘Carpool Karaoke’ days before lead singer's death
Linkin Park had only just filmed an episode of ‘Carpool Karaoke’ – days before lead singer Chester Bennington’s death.
The band Tweeted a smiley picture with themselves and The Hangover actor Ken Jeong on set of the James Corden spin off show last week.

The caption on the snap says: “Fun day with [Ken Jeong] [Carpool Karaoke] [Apple Music] — stay tuned.”

The 41-year-old father-of-six was found dead in his southern California home on Thursday night in a suspected suicide.
Like hundreds of Chester’s close friends, family and fans, his Carpool co-star Ken Jeong was in shock and took to Twitter to vent his grief.

He wrote, “I am in shock and heartbroken. All my thoughts and prayers go out to Chester and his family and friends at this time.”
Carpool Karaoke: The Series will premiere on August 8th, and promised a 16 episode line up of interesting celeb match ups like John Legend and Alicia Keys, Billy Eichner and Metallica, and Queen Latifah and Jada Pinkett Smith.
James Corden has promised he’ll be in at least two episodes Will Smith and LeBron James.
No word yet on when Chester’s episode will air.
