Yesterday's key developments:
Israel's government ratified the Gaza ceasefire deal in the early hours of Saturday after a cabinet meeting that lasted more than six hours.
The Gaza ceasefire was set to come into effect at 8:30am local time on Sunday, Qatari officials said.
Israel's justice ministry said it is preparing for the staggered release of 737 Palestinian prisoners including men, women and children in the first phase of the truce.
