Deadly Israeli strike on Gaza City school draws international condemnation

At least 90 people were killed on Saturday in an Israeli strike on a school housing displaced people in Gaza City, the Palestinian territory’s civil defence agency said. Israel’s military said it had "precisely struck Hamas terrorists" who were using the school as a base. The attack drew widespread condemnation across the globe, including from Turkey, France and the US, which expressed "deep concern" and underscored the "urgency of a ceasefire and hostage deal".
