The Log Lady returns to Twin Peaks in episode 10

One of the most enigmatic Twin Peaks characters returned to screens during last night's episode (July 16) and viewers on Twitter couldn't get enough.

Part 10 saw a very familiar face – Catherine Coulson's The Log Lady – return to drop a bombshell that won't be much of a surprise to hardcore fans.

Indeed, The Log Lady returned to her prophecy-making ways by ringing Hawk and telling him that all roads STILL lead back to Laura Palmer.

Of course. Of course they do.

The Log Lady (aka Margaret Lanterman) has been a fan-favourite character of Twin Peaks since its 1990s run, mainly because her log can tell the future.

Elsewhere, it was an action-packed and violent episode, which saw Richard Horne murder a female witness to his hit and run and then choke his own grandmother.

This was followed by the heartbreaking reveal that Steven (Caleb Landry Jones) is abusing his wife Becky (Amanda Seyfried).

Still, it was better news for Dougie who got laid by Janey-E (Naomi Watts).

Twin Peaks returns next week on Sunday on HBO (July 17).
