Loose Women settled into its new home today (April 16) and in the process has had a dramatic makeover.

The ITV daytime show has surprised viewers by going for a more modern, circular look with brighter colours and more screens.

"I feel very grown up," Coleen Nolan said at the start of the episode, praising the new studio. "I feel like I have to be sensible and have intelligent points to make."

Ruth Langsford added: "I think it looks very modern and fresh. I love the green and red.

"This is a fresh start for us. We've moved after all these years to a new studio. I don't know about you, but i find change quite difficult. I am a creature of habit, as you know. I've got to have all my little bits, and then I'll feel comfortable.

"So for me, it feels like the first day at school."

Unfortunately, many viewers have yet to adjust to the changes and were very quick to criticise on social media.

"The screens and signs behind the @loosewomen are making me queasy!" one person said.

Another viewer said: "All of the colours, moving words, I feel like I'm in a field, it's the '90s, and I'm on acid."
