Taking a cheeky swipe at rival dating shows Naked Attraction, Celebs Go Dating and Ex On The Beach, one promo shows a TV screen with the show title Naked Celebs Go Dating On A Beach before a cartoon pink trainer stamps on the TV and squashes it.

A graphic of the show's famous pool appears with letters spelling out "LOVE" and a flag proclaiming "We Own It".

Fans of the show will also notice a nod to last season's winner Millie Court, with a cartoon of a blonde woman in her pink dress sitting at a piano in reference to her musical turn on the show.

Another promo shows two naked cartoon people drifting towards each other on inflatables in the pool and kissing as the words "The OG's of Love" appear.

The trailers are already available on social media, but are set to air on TV for the first time tonight (Saturday) during the ad break of Britain's Got Talent - heralding in the excitement of a new Love Island season being just around the corner.

Love Island's new ads are released just as rumours have begun that the one-season winter version could be making its way back to TV.

It aired at the beginning of 2020 but was swiftly cancelled for a comeback in the wake of the pandemic, although according to The Sun, ITV2 are now looking at reviving the winter run.

Photos have also shown the new villa being used this series under renovation by builders to make it camera ready for the season launch this summer.

Love Island returns this summer on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
