Love Island's Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies want the world to know that they don't fear the infamous Dancing on Ice curse.

Like Strictly Come Dancing, the ITV skating competition has a history of leading to off-screen romantic chemistry between its celebrities and their professional partners. But Kem, who'll be a part of the revival, has already survived temptation on Love Island.

"Amber is a dancer and she knows there's no curse," Kem has told OK! Magazine. "We're comfortable in our relationship. We're going there to ice skate and do a job and Amber's going to be with me the whole way."

Kem's partner Amber has made it clear that she isn't worried either about losing Kem to whichever skater is ultimately paired up with her man. As of yet we're not sure which skater he'll be paired with, since original partner Megan Marschall has quit.

"I've been in rehearsal rooms my entire life," she insisted. "I know that [romance] doesn't just happen like that.

"You can't go off when you're in a relationship, especially if you're taking it seriously and looking at it as a job. I've got nothing to worry about. I totally trust Kem with his skating partner more than anything."

Kem will be going for gold on Dancing on Ice against the likes of Corrie legends Antony Cotton and Brooke Vincent, Bake Off winner Candice Brown, Hollyoaks' Stephanie Waring and more than a half-dozen more celebrities.

Dancing on Ice will return to ITV in 2018 with Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.
