Love Island's infamous lie detector test has ruined many a couple in the past but could it actually be powerful enough to break up the show's most solid couple ever?

Tonight will see Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham's biggest test yet as the boys are subjected to questioning while hooked up to a lie detector, with their girls getting to ask whatever they want.

Dani has one clear agenda when writing her questions for Jack and that's to discover whether he really is a trustworthy boyfriend.

"I've been cheated on, I've been lied to. I've had it all," she says in the Beach Hut. "It doesn't bring a nice side out in me. Loyalty, it means so much to me."

Jack is left squirming by Dani's tough questions for him, which are:

- "Have you fancied any other girls except for Dani in the villa?"

- "Do you wish Dani was sexier?"

- "Do you feel like you settled too quickly with Dani?"

- "Did you couple up with Dani because you knew who her dad was?"

- "Could you be tempted by other girls outside of the villa?"

- "Are you in love with Dani?"

Although we'll have to wait until the episode airs to find out exactly how Jack's answers play out, it's safe to say that they weren't all what Dani wanted to hear because there's tension between the couple afterwards.

When Dani asks to speak to Jack by the firepit, clearly upset about some of his answers, Jack isn't keen to talk about it.

"It's just annoying me that you're now talking about all the negative ones," he says.

But Dani hits back, saying: "Any girl in the world if they've got that question and their boyfriend got it wrong, they would be upset."

They've been solid virtually since day one in the villa, but is this final test enough to break them up?

With actual Danny Dyer looking likely to arrive at the villa very soon, we hope for Jack's sake that he and Dani make up.

Dani and Jack aren't the only Islanders who struggle with the task either, with Jack Fowler and Laura Anderson both lined up to have a particularly hard time.

Love Island continues tonight (July 23) at 9pm on ITV2.
