This is big: Lululemon debuts 'female-first' Chargefeel workout sneaker
We all know Lululemon as one of the top spots to shop workout and athleisure gear, everything from leggings to outerwear. After 24 years in business, the Canadian brand is expanding to footwear, and this summer dropped another workout shoe designed with the women's foot in mind.
The Chargefeel sneakers check all the boxes. You can run, walk, train, lunge, kick and more. Just like the Align or Wunder Under tights work for any routine, so do these trainers.
"In the past, I normally would wear a workout shoe specific to whatever activity I’m doing. This is the first shoe I’ve worn that I put on from morning to night — from running errands in the city, to hitting a workout, to lunch with a friend. Chargefeel is a great shoe for cross-training workouts and is fashion-forward, hugging and supporting my feet in a way that feels personal to me — a shoe that truly was made for me," Lululelmon ambassador and MIRROR trainer Deja Riley told Yahoo exclusively.
You have two silhouettes to choose from: Chargefeel Mid and Chargefeel Low. The Mid design features an engineered mesh upper that provides impeccable ventilation and support. A smooth liner adds second-skin-level comfort and the dual-density midsole is springy for running while also agile enough for training. Finally, the outsole promises traction and flexibility with each stride.
Highlights in the Low design include similar features in the aforementioned model with the addition of zones of stretch and support to secure your foot in place, and a midfoot frame that provides support for both running and training.
"Just purchased the beautiful highlight yellow Chargefeel and they performed great in my fitness class," one satisfied shopper said of the Mid model. "Plenty of support and flexibility for burpees! So comfortable I don't want to take them off. Absolutely love the super soft and comfy high top. Fits true to size."
Choosing a pair of trainers isn't the easiest task, so Lululemon is allowing you to test out a pair, with their compliments, for 30 days. If they aren't a fit (which we doubt will be the case), return them for a full refund.
If you can't get enough of their apparel and accessories, perhaps it's time to give your feet the Lululemon treatment.
