Major road reopens after three-vehicle crash
A major road in Leicestershire has reopened after a crash involving three vehicles.
The fire service said two crews were sent to reports of a collision on the A42 at about 11:40 GMT.
It said five people were checked for injuries by paramedics, with one person receiving first aid.
The road was closed both ways between junctions 12 and 11 but has since reopened.
