Man dies following car crash in Alderney

A 66-year-old man has died following a crash involving a car in Alderney, police have said.

All emergency services were called to the single-vehicle incident at Fort Clonque at about 18:40 BST on Wednesday.

Guernsey Police said inquiries were ongoing and Alderney residents would see an increased police presence in the area.

Officers have appealed for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
