Man finds his 'murdered' father's skeleton under his house after psychic's tip

A man has found the skeleton of his long-lost father who was buried underneath the home he has lived in his whole life.

Mike Carroll discovered his father’s remains at his Long Island home in the US, who had vanished in 1961 when Mr Carroll was just eight months old, The New York Post reported.

He and his siblings never saw him again and were told by their mother not to ask about him.

Suspicious from his mother’s hesitance to speak of his father’s disappearance, Mr Carroll decided to investigate himself after a psychic told him to check the family home for his father.

He hired diggers to search their family home after purchasing it off his mother before her death in 1998.

And in October a body was discovered buried underneath the home. Police later confirmed it was Korean war veteran George Carroll.

“It’s unusually not shocking,” Mike told The New York Post.

“Of course, it’s emotional, but we can handle it.”

Authorities confirmed the body had suffered a blunt force trauma to the head – a detail Mr Carroll says the psychic also predicted.

“She actually said to me that it was a pipe, that he got hit in the head by a pipe and he was buried alive.”

The death is being probed as homicide, yet Mr Carroll says the discovery of his father has brought sufficient closure.

“We found our dad, so we win,” he said.

Mr Carroll is planning to have a military burial for his father.
