Man completely unrecognisable after TV show surgery
We’re used to seeing some pretty incredible transformations on TV makeover shows, but one man has made headlines after his appearance changed so dramatically his own mum didn’t recognise him.
Noppajit Monlin has set the internet alight after appearing on Let Me In Thailand, the Thai edition of a popular Korean makeover show, to undergo plastic surgery.
After suffering from a facial deformity that left him struggling to chew and alienated from his co-workers during lunch breaks, the 22-year-old travelled to South Korea where he underwent jaw, forehead and eyelid surgeries.
He also had skin treatment, and salivary gland botox injections to help excessive drooling.
A three-month recovery later, and Noppajit could finally reveal his new face to his mum – who couldn’t hide her shock at her son’s completely transformed appearance.
“Is it you? Is it really you?” she said on the show.
Noppajit’s new look also shocked his girlfriend of three years – Tob, a transgender woman he met on Facebook.
“She took care of me,” Noppajit said.
“This woman is the best for me.
“Although I have a new life now, my heart is the same.”
