Two local residents, a 62-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man, were killed, and four others injured in a massive Russian artillery attack on a hospital in downtown Kherson, regional governor Oleksandr Prokudin reported on Telegram on Nov. 13.

A fire broke out, destroying an ambulance and other vehicles nearby.

On the same day, a two-month-old girl and her mother were injured in a separate Russian artillery strike on the outskirts of Kherson. A 64-year-old driver, believed to be the child’s grandfather, was burned beyond recognition after the shell hit the family's car as they were returning from a medical facility.

The child's 36-year-old mother is hospitalized in serious condition. The infant suffered a head wound in the blast. She is in fair condition. "Doctors are providing the necessary assistance and fighting for the mother's life. Our enemy is cruel. It understands only the language of violence,"Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko wrote on Telegram.

A man was killed and his wife injured after a Russian attack on Kherson which also damaged the Oles Honchar regional universal scientific library, the oblast’s governor Oleksandr Prokudin said on Nov. 12.
