McDonald's worker 'fired' for disgusting act in kitchen

A McDonald’s worker has reportedly been fired, after a picture was uploaded to Facebook showing him putting his hand down his pants while allegedly working in the kitchen.

John Holieb told Fox News he was with his girlfriend, picking up food for his daughter at a Pittsburg McDonalds drive-thru in the US. He said he saw the employee with both hands down his pants, but by the time he grabbed his phone to take a photo, he just had the one hand down there.

On Tuesday, a spokesperson told the news channel the worker in question had been fired.

Also on Tuesday, a formal complaint was filed with the Allegheny County Health Department regarding the McDonald’s in West Liberty Avenue, and an investigation was conducted.

The Health Department said there were “no other violations of personal hygiene,” and the department spoke with the area supervisor.

Following Mr Holieb uploading the photo to Facebook, the general manager of the store reached out to him, explaining some of her employees had shared the screenshots of the post with her, according to Fox News.
