When it comes to their son, Archie, (who recently hit a major milestone!), Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are clearly besotted – the couple have even set up a charitable organisation inspired by his name. So it's no surprise then, that during a recent interview (held in what we believe is the Sussexes back garden), Meghan couldn't help but sing Harry's praises when it came to the subject of parenting.

When discussing feminism with esteemed writer, Gloria Steinem, The Duchess of Sussex said she was grateful that her little one has such a great model to look up to. In response to Gloria saying, "Well, you can be a feminist and be masculine and a guy...", Meghan replied, "Like my husband! I love that when he just came in he said, 'You know that I’m a feminist too, right Gloria?! It’s really important to me that you know that.'"

She continued, "But you need that. And I look at our son and what a beautiful example that he gets to grow up with a father who is so comfortable owning that as part of his own self-identification. That there’s no shame in being someone who advocates for fundamental human rights for everyone, which of course includes women."

Gloria also had some kind words to say about Prince William's brother, adding in, "And also that he is a nurturing father. Because then your son will grow up knowing it’s okay to be loving and nurturing." To that, Meghan replied, "Well said. I know it’ll mean a lot to him when I share that." So sweet!

When speaking to Cosmopolitan UK, Omid Scobie, co-author of the new biography about Meghan and Harry, Finding Freedom, said that Harry is very protective over his family too – and that his decision to step away from his senior role, in order to afford them more privacy, wasn't one that he took lightly. Scobie also commented on how the Sussexes really think through the videos and photos they share of Archie, revealing that they find social media a helpful tool for keeping control over what the public are granted access to.

"Carolyn [Durand, co-author] and I have this brilliant window into their working world and everything surrounding that, but I think when it comes to their family, Meghan and Harry have always been careful to keep those private moments to themselves," said Scobie. "They really like to be able to control how they share Archie with the world and we've seen lots of him, particularly through social media. That's somewhere that they feel comfortable doing that."
