Melania Trump snapped for the first time since White House exit

She caused headlines all over the world when she left husband Donald Trump on the tarmac when they arrived in Florida last month but Melania Trump seemed a lot more relaxed on Valentine’s Day.

Photos show the 50-year-old smiling and posing for photos at the couple’s Florida Mar-a-Lago resort, which is the first time the former First Lady has been seen since the Trumps departed the White House.

The photos were posted to Instagram by a man named Keith, who captioned the snaps: "What a way to spend Valentine's Day, having dinner in the dining room alongside the Trump family!"

Former president Donald Trump can also be seen in the photos, smiling while dressed in a suit and red tie.

Trump’s son, Donald Junior was also in attendance at the club for Valentine’s Day.

Melania's Valentine's Day message

Melania’s appearance comes after she shared two heartfelt messages of 'love and strength' in celebration of Valentine's Day, however, her husband of 15 years, former US President Donald Trump, didn't get a mention in either.

The ex-FLOTUS took to Twitter to observe the romantic day by reflecting on her past visits with the seriously ill children at The Children's Inn, a residential home for young patients undergoing treatment and their families.

While the former model, 50, appeared to have a lot of love for youngsters on Valentine's Day, Twitter users were quick to point out that there wasn't much for 74-year-old Donald.

"One could read into this tweet that you ONLY wish the best for CHILDREN and absolutely NOT your HUSBAND," one wrote.

"We know you're not thinking of the big fat orange blob, that's for sure," said another.

Trump departs Washington with Americans more politically divided and more likely to be out of work than when he arrived, while awaiting trial for his second impeachment - an ignominious end to one of the most turbulent presidencies in American history.

Melania's post-White House plans revealed

Back in January, the former First Lady’s post White House plans were unveiled.

According to CNN, Melania has got straight to work instead of lounging by the couple’s private club, Mar-a-Lago’s, pool in Florida.

Melania is believed to have established a post-White House Office so she can maintain her ‘Be Best’ initiative.

The ‘Be Best’ campaign was launched in 2018 and focused on wellbeing, social media usage, and opioid abuse amongst children.

According to CNN, three former White House staffers are working for Melania’s new office, either remotely or at Mar-a Lago.
