Miley Cyrus Cut Her Hair Into a Shaggy Mullet and It’s Literally the Rocker-Chic Haircut of My Dreams
Miley Cyrus just got her hair cut into a shaggy, rock-and-roll-inspired mullet.

It’s finally 2020, which means there are bound to be hair changes aplenty! But if you haven’t started seeing any of the gorgeous new hairstyles from Fashion Week that are destined to show up on your feed, don’t worry—they're coming soon! And from the looks of it, your favorite singer—Miley Cyrus, obvi—has already jumped on the new hair 2020 bandwagon by bringing back an old hair trend and making it new again.
Miley took to Twitter to share four pictures of herself looking totally 🔥 with her new style, perfectly accented by a plain white T-shirt and blue jeans so her hair could be the center of attention. And guess what—she traded in her previous “modern mullet” hairstyle for a shaggy, punk-inspired haircut! That’s right, y’all. Rock ’n’ roll chic is officially the name of the game, if Miley Ray Cyrus has anything to say about it. I don’t even know what else to say besides I’M OBSESSED.

If you, too, are considering this ~edgy~ look, the good news here is that Sally Hershberger (aka Miley’s celebrity hairstylist) shared exactly what she used to accomplish the cut. “To get the edgy look, I point-cut her hair and then used a razor to slice it into a shag—it was a very organic process,” she said in a press release. “To style it, we did a rough dry and then I used my 24K Vanity Hair Shaping Balm and 24K Golden Touch Nourishing Dry Oil to finish off the piecey look. It’s a very fashion-forward look yet very no-fuss, both reflective of Miley’s personality.”
