Miley Cyrus just showed off her real skin texture in a no-makeup sunbathing selfie
Miley Cyrus has been entertaining us no end with her recent transformations, proving that nothing is off limits when it comes to the mullet-loving wild child of music. So, while we're busy getting our half-head of highlights and trim (no split ends for us!) Miley has been rocking (literally) a different 'do almost daily - matching her makeup to her mohawk for the full-package aesthetic.
There was the time she upgraded her mullet with an extreme Bowie twist, tried out a bowl cut and a mohawk-ponytail, adopted an Oasis-style look then returned to the mullet life with a brushback style which looked very off-duty Lady Di to us (and now Billie Eilish is at it, too).
With all that in mind, we were understandably thrown when Miley decided to take a day off from the extreme-mullet and full-face-of-makeup recently. That said, celebs are all about keeping it real on IG these days, what with Adele's recent fresh-faced selfie and strawberry-blonde hair reveal, JLo's bubble bath pic and Kylie Jenner zooming in on her pores- we're loving the A-listers' ability to strip back their super-star personas to reveal the real them.
Miley just posted a selfie on her Instagram Stories to recommend the book she was reading, and we immediately took notes on her chill off-duty vibe. Sporting a cartoon T-shirt and oversized sunnies, she kept her hair relaxed and product-free and her face sans makeup, showing off her real skin texture to the world.
We're buying the book, Googling the T-shirt, scanning ASOS for a good sunglasses match and removing every single stitch of makeup from our faces. It's rock and roll, darling...
