This Morning's Phil drops brilliant sex toy innuendo

From Digital Spy

Innuendoes are nothing new on This Morning, but Phillip Schofield might just have dropped his best one yet.

Today's (April 26) show opened with a serious and even-handed debate about a recent article that claimed teenage girls should be given a vibrator to tackle the 'pleasure gap' between men and women.

Qualified social worker Judi Love and relationship expert Annabelle Knight were on hand to air their views on the subject, with both of them fully aware of what Phil was doing when he ended the segment by saying "this has obviously started a mass debate".

Holly Willoughby might not have giggled and Phil remained stoic throughout, but viewers watching at home were loving the casual innuendo.

"WE SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE," one fan wrote on Twitter, with another adding: "Giving your teenage daughter a vibrator has caused 'mass debate' eh ? Eh? @Schofe you cheeky little blighter."

Before the innuendo was dropped though, some viewers watching at home were uncomfortable with the debate opening the show, despite the fact that only scientific words were used.

"My lord, isn't it a bit early for masturbation talk eh," one fan responded to the segment and another pointed out that they had to watch "through [their] hands".
