The movie trailer that's 'TOO SEXY' for TV

A 30-second trailer for upcoming movie Tulip Fever has been banned from one of the biggest TV networks in the US because it was considered 'too racy'.

PageSix reports that a clip for the R-rated film, which stars Alicia Vikander, Christoph Waltz, Dane DeHann and Judi Dench, and features a steamy love scene between Alicia and Dane, was rejected by Fox despite being given the tick of approval by the Motion Picture Association of America.

The trailer got the chop after the films distributor refused to pull the X-rated scene.

The costume drama is set in 17-century Amsterdam and centres on an artist who falls for a married noblewoman he's been comissioned to paint.
