Mum's genius $12 Kmart laundry hack
If your laundry is need of some serious TLC this New Year, then look no further than this epic hack to get it in order.
Instagrammer Michelle, who goes by the name Look What I Found online, managed to transform her laundry into a chic space thanks to a $12 wicker bike basket from Kmart.
“When I spotted the beautiful wicker bike baskets @kmartaus -$12 , I just had to create something with them,” the blogger said.
“The leather look buckle straps are perfect for attaching onto the @kmartausbamboo ladder and really give the baskets a fabulous look.”
The mum simply took the basket and rearranged the buckle straps by sliding them up, so they sat a little higher up.
Then she attached them to the Kmart bamboo ladder, so they sat on the rungs.
To get the baskets to sit properly, she said she ‘put the buckles towards the second last hole to hang a little lower so they sit on the rungs.’
As you can see from the photos, the finished result is stunning, with the mum filling the baskets with towels and draping a hanging plant from the top of the ladder.
People online are obsessed with the hack, claiming it’s ‘amazing’.
“This is so smart!”, one person said, while another said: “What a fantastic idea”.
